From bed design and planting to hardscape accents, our landscaping team turns an ordinary yard into a space that fits how you actually want to use it.
A landscaping project succeeds or fails based on decisions made before a single shovel hits the ground. Our landscaping service in Afton, MN starts with understanding how the property is actually used: where the sun hits hardest in the afternoon, where water tends to pool after rain, which areas get foot traffic, and which areas are purely for visual impact. Those answers shape every decision that follows, from bed placement to plant selection to material choice for any hardscape features.
From there we develop bed lines and planting layouts that account for mature plant size, not just how something looks on day one. Many landscaping mistakes come from overplanting a bed that looks sparse at installation and overcrowded two years later. We design with the long view in mind, selecting species suited to your soil type and Afton, MN's seasonal weather patterns rather than whatever happens to look appealing in a catalog photo.
Installation follows the same level of care. Soil is amended where needed, drainage is checked before beds are cut, and edging is installed to keep mulch and turf from migrating into each other over time. Larger features such as walkways, low walls, or lighting are coordinated so utility lines and irrigation are never compromised during the build.
This is a comprehensive paid service. Every consultation, design, and installation phase is quoted and billed according to project scope, there is no portion of the landscaping process offered free of charge.
Sun exposure, drainage, soil type, and traffic patterns are mapped before any design decisions are finalized.
